Ok, those that know me, also know that I have an unhealthy obsession for all things Robert Rodriguez, so my giddiness over him making the new Predator movie should come as no surprise. I read nothing about the movie, looked at no previews, just so I could enjoy it when it came, but I broke down and saw the trailer this morning… oh… yes… it paid off. Damn this should kick so much ass! Finally a plot that fits in with the comic book mythology.
Megacon ‘010 was as always a blast. Thanks to everyone who came by the booth and bought a copy of I ♥ Sushi Issue 2: Sashimi! (soon to be available through Indyplanet!) and gave me such wonderful suggestions for things to make jokes about (first new one should be up tomorrow). In the meantime, an awesome pic of me and Kevin Hayman dueling it out Star Wars style (ignore the incorrect date on there please… someone needs to reset their camera)
Hey everyone! Long time no update, but I’ve been busy and Megacon is fast approaching! So here’s a little ditty I did to loosen the drawing hand a bit. Hadn’t done any Monty Python or Dr. Seuss stuff yet, so it was a fun exercise to try out something a bit different (see… didn’t make the obvious completely different joke… self control is AWESOME!!)
This video is from an awards show in 1991. I still remember reading about William Gaines’ death in 1992 and lamenting it in school and my friends derided me for thinking Bill Gates had died.
Trantornator.com is my hubsite. It's a daily updated blog with weird tidbits. There are three main features: I ♥ Sushi: a series of one panel gags, updated right now daily until I have my backlog on-site and after that weekly. Also posting backlog material, in a different order over at the Drunkduck.com mirror listed below, so check it out for more gags. Drawnsword: a medieval fantasy comedy comic. I currently do one 12 page short story each year. There is also a big backlog currently being posted at the Drunkduck.com mirror site listed below, mostly in color. TPB's That Time Forgot: Weekly reviews of obscure and semi-obscure trade paperbacks (aka long form print comics). News: Just general weirdness, articles I find online and the occasional bit of commentary to keep you entertained.
